- Job Details:- Identify and assess the training needs of the organization and the business, through performance gaps analysis for employees’ annual performance appraisals, and consultation with line managers - Assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement by meeting with managers and stakeholders, talking with employees, administering surveys, conducting focus groups, or consult a third party, … etc. to determine training needs and requirements for the organization - Work with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments - Work across departments and with stakeholders to ensure that the training developed by the organization meets the needs of each function and is aligned with the goals of the business and ensure strategic alignment of the training department with business goals - Research and recommend a complement of internal and external learning programs that align with the organizations business objectives and employee needs - Advise and recommend training and development solutions or activities regarding performance issues and potential areas of training to address the needs - Assist the department heads to formulate departmental training and development plans - Implement training and development plans, and facilitate a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce - Develop, advise and implement strategies and policies and standard operating procedures that support departmental and corporate business objectives and values related to learning & development of staff - Manage, lead, motivate and develop training team members and effectively communicate with team members, trainers and management - Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training - Drawing up an overall training plan and manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training - Oversee, organize and manage the various scheduled training programs, developmental activities, group sessions, web-based seminars, training videos, or printed manuals within an organization regarding participants enrollment, rooms, facilities, supplies, printings, information technology, and all other equipment - Coordinate efforts to ensure the full utilization of all site training facilities, processes, resources and equipment - Initiate and manage key projects boosting employee relations that have strategic and organization-wide impact - Assist in ensuring the company fulfills the legal obligations regarding fire, health and safety training of employees - Ensure that management are briefed and kept up to date of the training activities taking place in the Company - Plan, implement, and co-ordinate for off job training activities and assist in career development opportunities for employees and with ensuring succession planning - Work closely with HR management in HR development projects and OD initiatives / activities specially talent management and process - Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes improvement of training services offered - Effectively own, prepare, and manage the training budget and annual training plan costs for all programs, activities, and events in all areas in alignment with strategic objectives of the organization and provide reports to the organization’s executives - Create curriculum to facilitate strategic organizational goals and drive corporate values and philosophy through all training and development activities - Review existing training materials produced, modify them if needed to determine relevance and effectiveness, or create course materials and training manuals to meet specific business training needs with blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, one to one sessions, e-learning, … etc. if in-house and/or with experts as third party to add value to employees and reach tangible results in their performance - Amend, revise, and evaluate training programs as necessary to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment and/ or business requirements - Organize and conduct effective training courses, induction / on-boarding sessions, or awareness and orientation events and for new hires and existing employees - Facilitate, present, and deliver training solutions / sessions for employees or hire qualified personnel to do so to meet business needs - Monitor and evaluate periodically the training program’s effectiveness, success to ensure the high standard quality of internal & external training programs delivered and make updates (as necessary) to optimize training processes for efficiency using such methods as: surveys, questionnaires, interviews & observations and review the progress of trainees with managers
