- Job Details:I assisted in researching, writing, and editing a book about the historical neighborhood of Kafr Abdou in Alexandria. Also, I helped guide the team throughout the process, based on the experience I had gained from my previous work. The ultimate goal of the Kafr Abdou project is to identify its main features and resources as the first step towards better development plans that serve the community of Kafr Abdou and the area in general. The research dived, in its 1st phase, into the documentation of its unique architectural typologies and reflecting the effect of time on both its architecture and urban patterns, mapping the transitions that occurred to land uses and the social structure in the process. http://www.designsector.co/project/mapping-kafr-abdou/

- Job Details:I participated in the investigation and definition of the technical execution of constructive details. The project focused on the personal way of working of Enric Miralles, in order to develop ideas and proposals for a Tibetan Medical Centre referring to the main themes of light and lightness, starting by the studies of natural and ecological materials and traditional construction technics used in the site and by the Tibetan Dzogchen Community. I was in charge of the developing digital models as a physical documentation of the various phases of the design of the project using Rhino 3D. As well as, solving structural problems regarding the connections between various structural parts and the placement of the structure on site with relation to the already existing structure.
