• Job Details:As an Editor my work was to: - Write English articles about various topics such as health, fashion, nutrition etc. - Conducting interviews: do a research about the character being interviewed, prepare questions, do the interview either via email, phone or face to face, write down the interview and edit it (translate it when needed). - Proofread all the articles of the magazine for printing. · As a Best of Cairo Guide editor: - Collect all the data of hotels, malls, restaurants, cafes, car services, schools, universities, nurseries, gyms, cinemas etc. - Create a database for each section in an excel sheet. - Call them all and make sure the data is accurate. · As a Sales Executive: - Create database for clients in excel sheets. - Call clients to set meetings and go meet them, see what they’re missing in the market, what their budget is and upon that I tailor a proposal for an offer for them. - Follow up and prepare contracts when they’re interested. - Go to all events to represent the magazine and broad its communication with more clients.
