• Job Details:As an intern in EgyptAir, I was assigned to a team of engineers responsible for regular flight engine and body maintenance.I worked in a variety of departments under the Maintenance department. Engine Maintenance, Hangar 8000 and 6000 Body Maintenance and repair, Equipment Maintenance and Flight Safety. The tasks I was assigned to within teams were Engine and flight interior and exterior maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic flight systems, safety units with all its measurements, NDT (Non-Destructive-Test) applied for all kinds of defects and findings on the plane, on board generators and aerodynamics of a flying plane. I practically worked in workshops performing NDT (Non-Destructive-Tests) on flight brakes and other mechanical parts being maintained. I have also used electric generators, hydraulic engines and pneumatic systems present in workshops for pressure adjusting and attended full repairing of the Flight Auxiliary Power Unit.
