Participated in the International School Award sponsored by the British Council. It was an integrated project about the "Passive Solar Design Houses", the integrated subjects are: Maths, Science, Geography, English, ICT, Art and Engineering. Passive solar design reduces the amount of artificial light required in addition to energy required to cool/heat the houses. It creates a more pleasant atmosphere proven to increase occupants' overall well-being and productivity with the minimum energy to be used. We had a partner from Belgium. The partner was studying the passive-solar design houses but from the cool countries point of view. So they were studying how to heat the houses. The winner is not announced yet (it is and ongoing award).
