• Job Details:User management, RMAN, Export and Import utility.  Experience Perl and shell scripting and other Oracle tools and utilities like Oracle OEM, SQL Navigator and TOAD.  Involved in Installation, Performance Tuning, Backup and Recovery, RDBMS Patching, Security, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), 4 Standby Database, Database Upgrade from 9i to 11g, troubleshooting and basic knowledge of networking and security.  Experienced in Performance Tuning using EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, STATSPACK  Creation of databases, instances, table spaces, data files, rollback segments.  Creating tables, indexes, synonyms, views, sequences, profiles, constraints, triggers and procedures.  Design and implementation of Backup & Recovery using RMAN and SQL scripts.  Proficiency in using Log miner, SQL *Loader and Export/Import utilities.  Handling day-to-day DBA activities using Oracle utilities and tools, monitoring space and memory requirements and Memory tuning. Checking Alert Logs, Archive Logs, Trace files and backup verifications.  Setting up Standby Database / Oracle Data Guard to protect againstfailures. Configured the Standby Database in such a way that the Database is kept synchronized with the Production Database by regularly transferring archived log files from the Production Server to the Standby Database Server.  Experience in Migration of Oracle 9i and 10g databases to 11gr2.
