With over thirteen years’ experience in supply chain management in different industries, Maged began his career in the automotive industry where he was involved in logistics management, foreign purchasing and customs related matters. He then moved on to the FMCG sector where he spent four years as Head of Import & Export department managing all aspects of clearing imported and exported products to more than 22 different countries. Lastly, he was managing the supply chain activities of a holding company overseeing operations in the FMCG, real estate and sporting clubs’ sectors. As a trainer, he has over thirteen years’ experience in multiple disciplines, ten of which were on a volunteer basis. He currently trains on various topics such as employability skills, character development, entrepreneurial leadership, presentation skills, time management, communication, customer service, feasibility studies, project management and delegation. Maged is very talented at engaging the participants and creating a healthy environment that enhances learning. Being a very analytical and creative person, he always seeks new approaches and uses effective analogies to get his point to the audience. Supply Chain ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:• Manage daily activities; receiving incoming goods and shipments, outgoing shipments, delivering goods to Stores and sister companies and receiving finished goods from suppliers; cycle counting; ensuring timely execution of set plans to fulfill internal and external customers’ requirements. • Leading warehouse strategic topics, preparing long term site master plan as well as long term manpower & equipment study. • Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods. • Manage and control the process of counting the goods in the way to comply with the required policies and procedures. • Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand. • Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs. • Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers. • Developing business by analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions. • Design, review and update the Warehouse map to ensure optimized materials storage and flow according to the materials configuration, storage conditions and distribution plan. • Fulfilling departmental objectives (KBI’s) and directions from top management. • Recruiting, training and creating the required development plan of staff • Monitoring, coaching, motivating staff and encouraging teamwork to consistently deliver targeted results. • Developing regular reports and analysis on a daily, weekly and monthly basis • Conduct Internal Audits as per the annual internal audit schedule • Responsible for providing full investigation of all warehouse related non-conformances and customer complaints placing the necessary corrective & preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence. • Keeping stock control systems up to date.

Imports and shipping ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Responsible for the following aspects of the supply Chain: Sourcing, Purchasing, Customs Clearance, Warehousing. Also involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost. Duties: • Monitoring data management to keep accurate product, contract, pricing and invoicing information. Working closely with suppliers to improve operations and reduce cost. • Communicating needs & objectives to managers & key personnel in procurement, logistics & distribution. • Negotiating contracts to reduce cost and achieve maximum efficiency. • Providing accurate routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. • Accurately calculating total supply chain costs in relation to proposed new projects. • Obtaining quotes for shipping and transportation and also making cost comparisons.
