• Job Details: Premiere is specialized in importing FMCG products.  Established a finance team of 8 accountants.  Dealt with the foreign currency shortage that was facing the Egyptian economy on that period and succeeded to eliminate the side effects on the business via developing banks network relation and changing the terms and conditions contractual agreements with the customers.  Developed a distribution cycle which led to a significant saving of scraping due to the short shelf life expiry of the imported goods.  Drive control of all financial accounting, financial services and financial reporting activities.  Plan, manage, maintain and control proper books of accounts, accounting records, audit schedules in timely preparation of the financial statements.

• Job Details: CBC is a group of three legal entities specialized in importing and manufacturing chemicals and agricultural materials. The group also was specialized in farms management.  Was the first CFO for the group in Egypt.  Established a finance team to handle the financial activities and bookkeeping instead of relying on an outsource service provider.  Creates the companies’ policies and procedures.  Advices and influences regarding the design of the structure.  Introduced the planning and reporting process for the purpose of monitoring the financial and treasury requirements of the business needs.  Designed an integrated pricing and costing systems for the factory and achieved a recognized profitability and savings. This led to a significant change in the variety of products.  Customized an ERP system design via a specialized service provider.

Financial ManagerFull Time

• Job Details: Introduced the first internal audit and controls systems for the distributing arm of Schweppes brand in Egypt.  Managed the financial department that was consisting of 92 employee who are handling 13 branches across Egypt.  Introduced control points and systems for the distribution cycle including the accounting operations and stock control. This processes led to a production saving amounting to EGP 7M per year.  Managed Corporate Tax and Sales Tax inspections and achieved a tax saving amounting to EGP 5M.  Introduced a monthly budgeting and forecasting process  Designed an aging reports and collection follow up templates that were applied across Egypt.
