Senior MEP ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Responsibility ➢ Leadership and Team Management: • Manage a large MEP team, overseeing deliverables, and closely collaborating with the project lead team. ➢ Communication Skills: • Demonstrate strong communication skills with clients, presenting designs to end users, and providing constructive feedback to the wider team. ➢ Project Concept and Implementation Planning: • Understand the evolution of project concept, design, scope, and complexities to develop a smooth implementation plan. ➢ Design Review and Compliance: • Review the project’s Mechanical system (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, BMS), Electrical preliminary, design calculations, specifications, drawings, and Prepare Design report . • Ensure compliance with concept design and all International/Local regulations. ➢ Value Engineering and Optimization Budget: • Optimize the best design solutions and propose Value Engineering studies to enhance both technical and commercial aspects of the project. ➢ Technical Support and Monitoring: • Monitor technical and shop drawings submittals during project execution to ensure compliance with specifications. • Provide necessary technical support to the Projects Team. ➢ Project Execution Support: • Support project execution in all parameters to achieve the intended quality within cost budget and specified time frame. ➢ Meeting Management and progress reporting : • Chair meetings and workshops with consultants and contractors. • Prepare meeting minutes and follow up to achieve identified actions. • Report and document project progress to the Line Manager. Material Procurement Monitoring: • Monitor and report material procurement, including foreign and local material orders, to ensure successful project execution. ➢ Provisional Sum and Budgeting: • Guide the preparation and awarding of Provisional Sum items. • Review submittals/proposals in compliance with project specifications and in line with the planned. ➢ Contractor Negotiations: • Review and negotiate Contractor's variations and value engineering for the best interest of the project. ➢ Technical Guidance and Collaboration: • Collaborate, assist, and advise the technical team and consultants on various technical aspects, design improvements, green solutions, and efficient layouts. ➢ Stakeholder Advisory: • Assist, advise, and provide solutions to various stakeholders and end users related to mechanical systems.

• Job Details:Responsibility ➢ Design, Supervision, and Project Management: • Design for MEP(HVAC, Plumbing, Central Gas, firefighting) , and follow up supervision, and project management projects awarded to AECOM. ➢ Leadership and Team Management: • Manage a large MEP team, overseeing deliverables, and closely collaborating with the project lead team. ➢ Communication Skills: • Demonstrate strong communication skills with clients, presenting designs, and providing feedback to the wider team. ➢ QA Procedure and Design Review: • Review and verify the QA procedure, including design review signing off and providing necessary feedback. • Sign the design review forms. • Manage and coordinate with internal disciplines and sub-consultants. ➢ Project Management Practices: • Ensure project management procedures are followed per standard practice, including QA. • Review and endorse MEP design documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. ➢ Consultant Oversight: • Oversee and guide consultants' design progress activities. • Monitor and verify design progress and submittals at all design phases. ➢ Technical Problem Analysis and Solutions: • Analyze technical problems and issues and provide effective solutions. ➢ Tendering and Contract Management: • Prepare tender strategy, identify qualified consultants, contractors, and vendors. • Prepare and issue RFPs, evaluate proposals, negotiate contract terms/deliverables/payment schedules, and issue recommendations to the client. ➢ Financial Management: • Manage the project financially, including resource allocation, Work in Progress (WIP), Variation Orders (VOs), invoicing, and administration of the change control system. • Maintain a track record of delivering projects within agreed design fees. ➢ Compliance and Risk Management: Work in accordance with control measures contained in the risk assessments related to the work undertaken. ➢ Reporting and Performance Feedback: • Report to the direct report on project technical and commercial performance. • Keep the project team informed of key deliverables, deadlines, program progress, issues, and changes. • Monitor direct reports and provide regular performance feedback. ➢ Strategic Planning: • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for MEP projects. ➢ Client Communication: • Demonstrate strong communication skills with clients. • Present designs to clients and provide feedback to the wider team.
