• Job Details:Role • Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with Site Management • Evaluating & executing contracting works as well as managing negotiation, award and review of contracts as per contract regimes • Providing strategic & technical inputs on methodologies of construction; monitoring construction with respect to cost, time overruns & quality • Formulating operating budgets and managing overall operations for executing projects within cost & time norms • Evaluating projects specifications and determined the viability based on the technical, financial & economic parameters • Reviewing contract documents and assisting with procurement, pre-bid conferences & evaluations • Coordinating with: o External agencies for techno-commercial discussions, changes required in the tender / contract documents, cost estimates, including billing, variation / deviation proposals, claims, and so on o Clients, architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors & external agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals and obtaining statutory clearances • Supervising a team of professionals; ensuring suitable deployment and timely availability of Engineers • Spearheading all technical, commercial and fabrication requirements, from initiation to closeout, on assigned projects & proposals in accordance with internal processes • Managing concurrent of multiple projects and proposals communications, risks, issues & changes • Leading a team through goal setting, capabilities development, performance feedback and career planning Highlights • Managed a high net-worth project worth 600 Million to 1.5 Billion UAE Dirhams involving an esteemed set of clientele including Seven Tides, EMAAR, DAMAC, Al Wasl & Nakheel • Initiated the timely execution of three Deira Islands Sub-Station project within budget; implemented cost control strategies such as execution within prime cost as well as effective estimates for site infrastructure • Coordinated for all projects with major cross-functional coordination work undertaken to ensure efficient and timely supply of resources, material, human resources, statutory approvals and within prime cost Major Project Invlovement: • Downtown Sub-station at Jebel Ali • Design District Sub-Station • 3 Sub-Stations at Deira Islands
