Applies epidemiological principles and statistical methods, including risk stratification, to identify the target population, analyze trends and risk factors, and design and evaluate controls. o Ensures that the infection control standards for the hospitals are met Monitoring compliance for infection control procedures. o Serves as a knowledgeable and available resource on infection control practices and policies to patients, families, staff, and health system employees. o Assists with the establishment of standards of infection control practice that is scientifically based and consistent with regulatory requirements and participate in the development of revision of infection control policies and procedures. o Inputs maintain data in the infection control database. o Participate in hospital-wife performance improvement activities. o Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures. o Participates in self and staff's education, training, and development as applicable
