• Job Details:Project Handling: I. 36’’ Crude oil cross country pipeline (600,000 barrels per day-400 km pipeline)- Ministry of Natural Resource, Erbil. • Selection of process engineers, Training to the process & operation team leaders & engineers. • Lead to process engineer team in order to Check design outputs prepared by Process Engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of the activities. • Review & approval for Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrument Diagrams- As built for crude oil transportation via various oil pumping stations connected to crude oil pipelines from International Oil Companies of Iraq to Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, Turkey. • Review of Mass balance for six different modes of operation crude oil export. • Simulation check for selection of crude oil transfer mode on Stoner pipeline software. • Crude oil export pump selection considering the various parameters along with technical bid evaluation for the offers received from various vendors. • Review & approval for equipment specifications such as for pig trap launcher & pig trap receiver, crude oil export pumps, thermal relief valves, control valves, flow meter etc. • Review & approval for New Pig launcher /receiver, New fiscal Metering skids (Coriolis), Drain system etc. P&ID’s. • Review & approval for Thermal Relief Valve calculations, pipeline steady state calculation. • Participation of HAZOP, HAZID & SIL. • Review of operation & control philosophy for all five major stations such as KPS0, KPS1, KPS2, RETM, FKMS. • Monthly Availability & Deemed availability calculation report considering the actual technical condition of Crude oil pipelines including all line sections connected to main 36’’ pipeline considering the pressure constraint at final destination in Turkey. • Review of technical norms required for performing availability as per KPC procedures & standard practices. • Communication with Ministry of Natural Resource, Erbil for monthly, quarterly & annual shutdown plans. • Communication with International oil companies for operational changes, In line inspection activities, pigging operations etc. • Management of various contractors, support service agencies. II. 16’’ Crude oil pipeline (60KBBL-13km)- Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd. (GKPI), Erbil. • Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, and Piping and Instrument Diagrams for crude oil transport from crude oil storage tanks (GKPI) to receiving terminal, Kar Pipeline. • Crude oil transfer pump calculation. • Thermal Relief Valve calculations. • Review of equipment specifications for pig launcher & pig receiver, crude pumps, safety valves, control valves etc. • Pipeline surge steady state calculation • Participation of HAZOP, HAZID & SIL. III. 12’’ Crude oil pipeline (50KBBL-20km)- HKN Energy Ltd. Erbil. • Development of method statements for maintenance & repair works/ activites required to eliminate the defects raised. • Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, and Piping and Instrument Diagrams for crude oil transport from crude oil storage tanks (HKN) to receiving terminal, Kar Pipeline. • Development of safe operating procedure for the routine operation. • Crude oil transfer pump & Thermal Relief Valve calculation • Review of equipment specifications for pig launcher & pig receiver, safety valves, control valves, Coriolis flow meter etc.

Senior Process EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:I. Conversion of Liquefied Natural Gas Career (LNGC) to Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU), Norway • Review the tender document and Finalizing the scope of work. • Review and modify the technical proposal for LNGC for storage & transport. • Block Flow Diagram, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrument Diagrams checking & updation. • Preparation of Instrumentation process data sheet & line list. II. Detail engineering of bitumen blowing unit (BBU) for Sohar refinery improvement project for Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (ORPIC), Oman. • Review of licenser (M/s Porner Inc Austria) package for Checking of P&ID’s for Re-IFC stage & Preparation of design change notice log. • Instrument process datasheet preparation &Utility line calculation. III. Basic & Detailed engineering crude oil modular skid on oil well manifold for SAUDI ARAMCO, Saudi Arabia. • Lead to process team & Check design outputs, datasheets and drawings prepared by Process Engineers. • Review of FEED package as per Saudi Aramco standards. • Preparation of basic engineering Piping and Instrument Diagrams. • Vendor documents review. IV. Pipeline Project-Surge Analysis-ORYX GTL QATAR • East & West WWTP Pipeline No. 1 (12” x 19 km) & Pipeline 2 (12” x 9 km) • 6 Nos. of scenarios were analyzed on PIPENET. • Recommendations to ensure the selected pipe specification are adequate.
