• Job Details:Reinforcement of Batinah Water Transmission Pipeline Oman Provide and maintain a safe and healthful working environment for every employee and to ensure, through the issue of specific instructions, that the health and safety of all employees at site are safeguarded throughout the performance of any type of work carried out. Monitor the implementation of safe working practices, audit the site facilities, provide his specialist advises, coordinate with client HSE representative. Monitor and advise on health related issues with the laborer’s and keep records. Supervise that no activity will have any undesirable impact on the environment and develop procedures and preventive actions. Provide the workforce with precise instructions, aiming in particular at the prevention of accidents Creating a level of safety to the highest possible standards.  Become familiar with HSE Legislation and Codes of Practice.  Become familiar with project Safety Policy and safe working practices.  Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on HSE matters.  Regularly review HSE Policy and procedures and recommend any necessary amendments.  Carry out accident investigations and if appropriate recommend remedial measures to prevent recurrence.  Ensure the proper maintenance of all statutory registers.  Ensure that all statutory tests and examinations are carried out and appropriate records are kept.  Ensure that no health and safety hazards are created before the introduction of any new plant, equipment, process or substance.  Ensure that all employees are conversant with the contents of HSE Plan and are capable to implement them.  Determine the correct usage and type of PPE.  Ensure that all employees receive appropriate Health and Safety training including refresher training.  Ensure that adequate First Aid facilities and trained First Aiders are always available.  Ensure compliance with statutory legislation.

• Job Details:In charge of full application on SITE of the HSE Plan and related procedures and the HSE contractual requirements for the effectiveness of the activities and to the Corporate QHSE Manager for methodological aspects.  Issue and update the HSE documents ;  Supervise on management of specific HSE devices (PPE, Fire extinguishers, First aid kits, Environmental kits);  Organise internal meetings about HSE matters at SITE and prepare reports and improvement plans;  Attend Gama/GE meetings about HSE matters;  Assist Gama/GE during auditing and inspections activities on HSE;  Coordinate the HSE induction activities;  Coordinate the activities related to the training of personnel and the management of tool-box talks system at SITE;  Plan, execute or make them to be executed and to report all training activities regarding HSE performed at SITE including arrangement of initial induction;  Execute or over-view on HSE inspection activities at SITE;  Cooperate on completion and management of the Permit-to-Work system implemented on the Project;  Review data for HSE reports preparation and provide Corporate HSE Dept. with them;  Complete all reports about incidents and near-miss occurred at SITE as per regulatory and contractual obligations and ensure they are forwarded to the relevant authorities;  Over-view on correct management of all environmental-related issues at SITE (waste management, emissions, soil pollution) and produces reports. procedures and documents, as per local regulations and Alba requirements, or make them to be produced;  Review SITE security arrangements according to Alba and local requirements;  Manage and keep updated the project HSE archive;  Manage the relationships with Gama/GE, Alba and local health-care authorities and all other public bodies related to the Health, Safety and Environment Management.
