Field Service Engineer (Contract Position)

• Job Details:Ensuring absolute customer satisfaction and maintaining good customer relationships at defined territory. Performing preventative maintenance interventions, hardware/software upgrades and repair interventions on molecular analyzers. Service and repair of software controlled electro-mechanical devices. Installation and implementation of new molecular system analyzers at current and new customer sites. Remote instrument troubleshooting via 'Abbottlink' and phone. Instrument performance monitoring via Domo. Meeting strict deadlines on ongoing molecular system analyzers hardware and software upgrades/updates. Providing on-site customer training on new software and hardware upgrade/updates. Actively participating in area and worldwide molecular conference call, service summits and workshops. Performing weekly/monthly online Abbott quality trainings. Standby duties, preventative maintenance, overtime duties, telephone customer support, stock keeping, report writing, ensuring smooth office administration and meeting strict deadlines, safe keeping and calibration scheduling of test tools.

Biomedical Engineering Technician

• Job Details:Worked on a 5-year NSPA partnership project to offer biomedical engineering services to the Afghanistan National Army. My primary responsibilities included assessing existing medical equipment, setting up a medical equipment repair/service workshop, putting a maintenance and repair program in place, training staff and newly recruited Afghanistan biomedical engineering technicians, large sized medical machinery installation project management, dialysis machinery service and repair, reverse osmosis machinery and water treatment plant service and repair, patient care and monitoring equipment service and repair, ensuring ISO 9001 and ISO 13485:2016 compliance, reporting in meetings to various stakeholders.
