• Job Details:Some of my duties included: ● Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing customers/clients. ● Identify and solicit potential customers/clients. ● Assess customer’s needs, recommend or assist in selecting appropriate goods or services, and negotiate prices and sales terms of baked goods and baking material. ● Assist with price negotiation and preparation of bulk takeaway orders for nearby industrial workers and schools. ● Provide input where goods or services are tailored to suit clients’ needs. ● Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate the benefits of goods or services. ● Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. ● Maintain customer and sales records. ● Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support concerning baked goods or takeaways. ● Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment. ● Develop and maintain menu or service knowledge to explain to clients and answer questions about goods or services. ● Develop, implement, and report on sales strategies to achieve business goals set by management. ● Assess market conditions and competitors’ activities and develop an awareness of emerging markets and trends, mainly bread and takeaway services. ● May offer training in operating and maintaining equipment such as mixers & baking ovens.
