Project Value: 450 Million USD Responsibilities: • Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at site. • Installation of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Networks including Step Up & Down Transformers ,Switch Gears , RMU’s, Generators , indoor and outdoor Bus Way, MV/LV Cables etc. • Monitoring and controlling project execution with respect to time, cost and quality. • Review & submit weekly progress valuation of MEP work, Daily work report, inspection requests and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis • Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution. • Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local or international standards. • Directly responsible for the safety of all electrical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards. • Participate in client Progress meetings & Interface with other disciplines within the MEP team for coordination. • Assigns work tasks/ activities to Site Engineers, foremen & subcontractors. • Liaising with QC Engineers & Owner representative regarding work progression and hold point inspections. Project Value: 2.5 Billion USD. Highlights: • Nominated as an Focal Point engineer for the coordination/Meetings/Inspections for all the MEP related works including liaise with all the end-users Responsibilities: • Site surveys, preparation of shop drawings, finalization of Subcontractors and Suppliers for all MEP related items by evaluating in both technical and commercial aspects • Interface & Coordination works between Kahramaa’s various departments. • Preparation and installation of temporary road lighting including design. • Ensuring the execution of work activities within the allocated time frame. • Assigns areas of responsibilities to Site Engineers. • Preparation of Material take-off and work procedure, MAR, substation technical packages, TQ’s, QCP-ITP for client approval etc. • Supervision of Pumping Stations, Tunnel & Utility Buildings complete MEP related works • Supervision for installation of kahramaa substations including Dry & Oil Transformers ,Switch Gears ,Ring Main units (RMU’s),Feeder Pillar’s , F&G system etc. • Installation of 11 KV cables, pilot cables, street lighting poles, high mast columns, and street lighting feeder Pillars, Earthing networks etc. • Preparation of project closeout documents like, O&M manuals, As built drawings, Warranty certificates, etc. • Demolition & diversion of existing high voltage over headlines, cables &high masts etc.
