Key achievements/projects: - Automate the data collection of defects that occur on the assembly line. - Error proofing procedures such as for PCB adjusting process. - Major reduction of the assembly defects for all the models assembled on the line. - Coil handling cart project. - Coil assembly improvement project. - Welding process improvement project. - Solving the high amperage market issue.

  • Job Details:As SQD Engineer  Investigate, analyze and resolve supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends and leading continuous improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:  Work with purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented.  - Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule.  - Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.  - Monitor, communicate and improve key supply chain KPI’s, including SPPM and waste (time/cost).  - Establish specific short / long term supplier quality goals.  - Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrence of nonconformances.  - Work to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply.  - Develop long‐term supplier relationships, generate and implement cost reduction ideas.  - Aide manufacturing in the evaluation and qualification of new supplier materials following a defined new product qualification process.  - Strategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability of consistently meeting MIRACO requirements .  - Projects may include: process analysis, value stream mapping, process capability and throughput analysis, 6‐Sigma, 5S and Kaizen events. Key achievements/projects:  - Assure the quality of an entire delivery of compressors.  - Reduce the value of the supplier store from 1.2 million EGP to 300K EGP.  - Unifying the painting powder color across all the related suppliers.  - Solve the deformation issue of the refrigeration lines.  - Improve storing techniques for heavy material to reduce the defects resulting from bad storage.  - Establishing quality system for the plastic workshop. As IQC Engineer  Assure every component delivered to the factory is according to MIRACO requirements and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, material, and products. - Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical. - Devices sampling procedures, designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating reporting quality and reliability data. - Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities. - Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning material, products, or process quality and reliability. - Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities. - May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application. Key achievements/projects: - Reduce the inspection time to be within 2 days of receiving the delivery. - Conducting training sessions on: data collection, sampling, refrigeration and air conditioning. - Improve the decision making process by enhancing the inspection process, providing new testing methods, equipment and standards. - Automate the reporting of the suppliers issues through SAP. - Determine the root cause and solve one of the biggest issues received from the foreign market concerning the breakage of the drain panel.
