Project Controls Manager - HqFull Time

• Job Details:I was assigned to be project controls manager, overseeing all matters related to the schedule, cost control, risk, and contracts. Reporting directly to Dubai area projects director. My duties are but not limited to the following:  Develop an integrated schedule review to ensure compliance with master programme dates.  Develop and present weekly and monthly dashboards to the higher management which includes but not limited to (KPI’s, Trend analysis, Forecasts) to highlight schedule variances, areas of concerns and recommended corrective actions.  Early warnings and notifications for potential delays to ensure compliance with schedule baseline and validated planned dates are in-line with the master programme.  Comment on submitted status reports and identify any corrective/preventive actions that is needed to support the higher management in their strategic decisions.  Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure planning interfaces and handover dates are and actively managed.  Investigate extension of time claims and provide a thorough reply or recommendations as required  Present a high-level status Bi-Weekly report to project stakeholders to identify potential risks and choosing the appropriate risk response plan.  Assess the impact of COVID on project constrains and proposing appropriate workarounds to mitigate the impacted project management plan.  Negotiations with main contractor in proposed changes of methodology plans.

Senior Planning EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:I was assigned to be lead planning engineer responsible for main package works which includes; the main buildings with all its functional elements, landscape & swimming pool packages, reporting directly to the Project Manager and functionally to Head of Planning Department. In addition to my role, I was assigned to assist the Area Planning Manager in preparing tender schedules for Akoya tendering Projects. My duties are but not limited to the following:  Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in order to prepare fully integrated schedule, and actively manage planning interfaces and handover dates.  Produce KPI’s, project s-curves, weekly & monthly dashboards, and monthly progress presentation.  Analyse project progress versus master baseline programme and identify risks & forecast status by using earned value technique.  Support Area Planning Manager in all planning related matters not merely my related scope but also in overall area planning, and alerts him on significant gaps between baseline and progress schedules, and identify and develop alternative scenarios to recover from anticipated or incurred delays.  Support the project team decision-making process providing all information necessary for a rapid identification of any unfavourable trend or any potential problem in time in order to start immediate corrective action.  Manage subcontractor’s programmes to be in line with master baseline programme.  Prepare delay analysis and extension of time by using forensic delay analysis methods (time impact analysis & window analysis).  Provide Claim Department with all the required analysis in order to prepare fully integrated claims and send official delay notifications for Engineer/Client.  Support Contract Department in raised claims and attend negotiations meetings with subcontractors.  Negotiations with subcontractors on proposed changes in methodology plans.  Provide Support to the project finance team in preparations of cash-flow forecasts and monthly invoice submissions.  Support Area Planning Manager in preparing tender schedules.
