• Job Details:1. Participate in preparing the Action Plan of the Government of Kuwait for the period (2013/2014-2016/2017), the second Five-year development plan of (2014/2015-2019/2020), and the annual national development plans of 2014/2015, 2015/2016, and 2016/2017. This included an analysis to the current situation, determination of challenges, developing of relevant goals, policies, and national and international indicators s of assessing the progress for the sectors of Population Composition, Employment and Labor Market, Health services, Environment, Culture and Arts, and Media and Communication. 2. Assisting the governmental organization in developing the projects that meet the goals and policies of the above-mentioned sectors. 3. Assessing the reliability of demographic data collected from different sources. 4. Analyzing, and presenting data related to population, labor force and labor market, health services. 5. Creating database and information system for the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Planning and Development (GSSCPD), including Population, labor force, and labor market data. 6. Reporting to international and regional organizations ensuring the international standards of analysis and report writing. This included reports to many international organizations such as United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC), International Labor Organization (ILO), League of Arab States (LAS), United Nations Economic and Social Council, 2015 Integration Segment, etc. 7. Capacity building of GSSCPD stuff through training on “How to integrate the demographic dimensions into development plans”, including the basic and advanced demographic concepts, measures, models, and software. 8. Preparing the population projections, labor force, and labor market forecasting by different socioeconomic characteristics and for the period until 2035. 9. Constructing the models of life table and economically active life table for Kuwaiti population (nationals and Foreigners). By sex and under different scenarios of death and activity rates.
