• Job Details:• Planned and directed the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and in compliance with regulatory requirements for timely submission to various constituencies (Shareholders, BOD, Management, Doha Securities Market and others) • Developed and maintained accounting policies and procedures and ensure that financial controls are sufficiently designed and operating effectively. • Maintained a strong Accounting organization to support the company’s strategic plan • Established department objectives and evaluated staff performance. • Liaison with Doha Securities Market and government authorities.

• Job Details:• Supervised 15 accountants working in General Accounting, Treasury & Commercial sections. • Prepared financial statements for 22 operated concessions (17 producing / 5 exploration) and 1 non-operated producing concession • Prepared Variance analysis for Head office in Houston and internal management • Reviewed Crude Oil Cost Recovery Statements to local authoritiesand followed up with them on all outstanding issues • Prepared DD&A calculation based on reserve reports • Assisted in preparing Company Budget • Reviewed Oil and Gas Sales invoices to EGPC& third parties • Reviewed JV billings and insured proper coding in the Accounting books • Reviewed all banks reconciliations (over 80 Bank A/C), Partners Billings, Cash Call and followed up on queries
