• Job Details:Project: Al MASA ALAMAIN HOTEL, Al Alamein New City, Matrouh, Egypt. Owner: The National Authority for Administration and Investment. Contractor: Orascom Construction. Project cost: 8 Billion EGP. Job duties included: - Inspecting and then valuing completed work. -Measurement and take offs to prepare Bills of Quantities for tendering purposes. - Estimation of quantities as per drawing, comparing them with quantities in BOQ during work and match them with the implemented quantities at site. - Review and evaluation of contractor submittals drawings, variation order and time extension request, billings, and price updating. - Verify any technical changes required in variation orders prepared during the implementation of the projects, by preparing a special report attached with the variation orders. - Verification and valuation of invoices from contractors. - Reviewing, Revising and Preparing of Bar Bending Schedule. - Preparation of final measurements as built with site visits, For the following project: • Al MASA ALAMAIN HOTEL, with a plot area of 100,000 m2 and total built-up area of approximately 200,000 m2, the project consists of more than 50 different buildings. Six Residential and Hotel Towers, Mosque, Cinema, Restaurant, Mall, Shops & Food Court. Infrastructures.

• Job Details:Project: Egyptian – Japanese University (E-Just), Borg AL-Arab, Alexandria, Egypt. Owner: Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Contractor: Madkour Construction. Project cost: 650 Million EGP. Job duties included: - Studying the project contract documents for cost, time and contractual issues. - Reviewing the constructed quantities in site, compare with the subcontractor’s invoices and certifying payments, assessing the subcontractor’s claims - Preparing necessary correspondence in respect of financial issues. - Studying the financial impact of prospective change orders prior to their initiation. - Reviewing, monitoring and advising the construction Manager on all requests for additional payment including re-measurement, variations and claims submitted to the client. - Evaluating materials on site for the purpose of the payment certificate. - Ordering and negotiating the price of materials, For the following projects: • Egyptian – Japanese University (E-Just ), with a plot area of 45,000 m2 and total built-up area of approximately 110,000 m2, the project consists of lecture halls, library building, administrative building for student services, labs, service buildings and landscape works.
