• Job Details:Primary responsibility was to first assist in multiple surgical specialties including k-wires, plates and screwing, dynamic hip screws (DHS), debridement, micro-surgery operation at microsurgery unit, open reduction and external fixation ORIF and external fixation surgery. First assist in surgery including wound closure, perform history and physical exams, write treatment plans, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, see postoperative follow up patients, provide education on a patient's condition, preoperative, operative, and postoperative course, give intra-articular corticosteroid joint injections, soft tissue injections, and perform joint aspirations, conduct hospital rounds, hospital consults, and take call, write prescriptions, form and apply splints and casts, assist in osteoporosis clinic occasionally, treat musculoskeletal pain disorders through physical therapy, medications, injections, referral for surgical intervention.
