• Job Details:Projects: •Project Name: Creating an Index to assess the industry sector in Egypt (funded by the government - cooperation with the Ministry of trade and industry) •Project Objective: Preparing and designing an index to assess the industry sector and providing the prime minister with a short report that defines the opportunities in the industrial sector. •Project Tasks: Developing an indicator to assess the industrial sector using quantitative methods and drawing conclusions from the indicator and analyzing these results and putting them in the form of policy papers for the decision-makers. •Project Outputs: An index for the industry sector and policy papers based on conclusions for the decision-makers. •Project Name: Egypt's Description by Information Annual Book (funded by the government) •Project Objective: Providing a detailed description of several sectors with information about the Republic and its governorates. •Project Tasks: Collecting economic data and analyzing it and building models to forecast the following year’s performance. •Project Outputs: 2 versions of the annual book for the years 2017 and 2018. •Project Name: Executive summary of the government's work program from 2018/2019 to 2021/2022 (funded by the government) •Project Objective: Developing a guidebook of the Egyptian government work program in the medium term. •Project Tasks: Impact evaluation of public programs and policies. •Project Outputs: Executive summary of the government work program provided with analysis and recommendations for the decision-makers. •Project Name: The preparation methodology of the sustainable development strategy (SDS): Egypt’s Vision 2030 (funded by the government) •Project Objective: Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the economic sector. •Project Tasks: Measuring the economic impact of public programs and policies. •Project Outputs: KPIs for the economic sector. •Project Name: Development maps for the economic sector in Egypt (funded by the government- cooperation with the public and private sector) •Project Objective: Data mapping for the economic sector in Egypt and developing android apps for easy access to services for the disabled. •Project Tasks: Data mapping, compilation, merging, processing and consolidation. •Project Outputs: Easy access apps providing services for the disabled and GIS maps for several sectors based on international experiences from the USA, Sweden and Australia in addition to developing policy papers depending on the development maps at the national as well as local level. Responsibilities: • Building and Maintaining forecasting models for various macroeconomic indicators. • Conducting primary and secondary research on macroeconomic and microeconomic issues. • Assessing the national projects through cost-benefit analysis and quantitative methods using econometric modeling. • Following up on global and regional reports related to the Egyptian economy and analyzing its performance relative to its peers. • Conducting monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the decision-makers and the prime minister’s office. • Creating economic material for the weekly generated infographic designs to be posted on social media outlets. • Supervising the graphic design team to ensure high-quality execution of reports, forms, graphs, and insights.
