• Job Details:Working on The Cultural Destination management for The Rediscovering Esna’s Cultural Heritage Assets (RECHA) Project, a USAID project –implemented by Takween ICD with other partners - aims to unleash the potentials of Esna’s diverse cultural heritage assets, pave the way for a sustainable revitalization process, and reposition the city of Esna as an important cultural heritage site on Egypt’s tourism map. - Conducting analysis and stakeholder-mapping of the cultural tourism sector and its related businesses opportunities, challenges, and trends on the local (Upper Egypt) and national levels. - Develop and implement a Partnership Strategy aims at promoting the City of Esna as a prime cultural tourism destination, enhancing levels of Destination Management, and establishing business and entrepreneurial models to achieve these objectives while benefiting the local community in Esna. - Designing Cultural Tourism products in the Heritage city of Esna based on the tourism market in Luxor & Esna. Conducting the interpretation of the heritage destination through group of theme-based tours for the local & International tour operators. - Supervising the project’s Communication Unit in promoting the City of Esna among tourism sector partners through building the online content for Esna city on the different online platforms and the dissemination of the project information for the different communication channels; and obtain feedback from the different partners’ on city’s Visitor Experience for domestic and foreign visitors. - Conducting partnership strategy based on the effective engagement of the project partners (local community, local government, tourism sector, and businesses) and manage the implementation of the Partnership Strategy with the project stakeholders to reinforce- establish new business opportunities/partnerships, entrepreneurial models, pilot initiatives, and tourism packages/products in line with the project objectives.
