    • Job Details:Job description: Working as the manager of the Electro-mechanical Department at which I am in charge and totally responsible (not only participating) for all the duties concerning the following systems and equipment at the Airport (Both, terminal one and terminal two): Elevators, Baggage Handling System (BHS), Stand-By Generators, Fuel-Oil Systems, Bootable Water Pumping Stations, Irrigation Pumping Stations, Sewage Pumping Stations (SPP), Air compressors, Blowers, Sewage Treatment plants (STP), Firefighting Systems, L.V. panels, Automatic transfer Switches for Standby Generators (ATS). Duties include: Utility management, Project management, Planning, Operation & Maintenance and Design as well. Responsibilities and duties: Estimation for new projects and upgrading the systems. Making the designs, the submittals and the specifications concerning any upgrades or renovations for the systems being responsible for. Giving the technical approvals for choosing the main contractor and the subcontractors with the consultant as well, when it comes to a tender concerning any project regarding the systems being responsible for. Supervising the projects (project engineer) that concern any of the systems being responsible for, including the installations, the commissioning tests, the primary delivery of the systems, the startup and making the snag lists and the final delivery as well. Follow up the current projects and report the progress from finance and technical point of view. Represent the owner in different governmental authorities, consultants, contractors & ISO. Control and implement contracts with the suppliers. At the end of the warranty period and after delivering the systems finally from the contractor, we decide whether to assign a contract for the system including operation or maintenance or both and if decided , we make the specifications of the contract and after making the tender and approving a certain contractor or company, we do the supervision of their work, evaluate it as their monthly statement is approved by us and we decide if there will be any deductions or not. Planning the maintenance schedules, the spare parts and the material supply for all the systems and equipment based on the manufacturer recommendations and the O&M manuals. Make the yearly plan for purchased items and control the spare parts purchasing to fulfill the maintenance plan. Working with building management system (BMS) to monitor and control all airport equipment to be updated on time with any alarm or malfunction in any equipment in order to be able to take the proper action within minimum time. Identifies operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; investigating complaints and suggestions; interviewing process supervisors and operators; completing troubleshooting procedures. Identifies operational priorities by assessing operational objectives; determining project objectives such as, efficiency, cost saving, operator convenience and safety. Anticipates operational problems by studying operating targets, modes of operation, unit limitations; monitoring unit performance. Applying protective and corrective (mechanical and electrical) maintenance. Oversee running of day to day maintenance and inspection for all airport equipment. Co-ordinate with the CCO team for applying the maintenance schedule. Apply and implement the instructions for the ISO documentation procedures and complete all ISO related paperwork. Give technicians the required technical training on operation and maintenance and make a half yearly assessment for their performance and report it to the HR department.
