• Job Details:Department Strategy and Planning • Leads the IT departments operational and infrastructure planning, projects and resource allocation. • Plans for growth and upgrades of current systems, optimization and tuning, evaluation of tools and products, and coordinates release implementation. • Develops and maintains overall backup and recovery strategy (Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity). IT Governance • Ensure latest IT standards on governance, regulation, security etc. are followed from Operations point of view. • Implement processes to standardize IT practices and procedures, capacity planning and risk mitigation. • Ensure Compliance of the infrastructure on Patch level, version, Firmware, security requests. Security • Research the latest information technology security trends. • Through his team monitor the organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur. • Help to design, implement, and maintain the organization’s cyber-security plan. • Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices for the organization. • Direct the installation and use of security tools (e.g., firewalls, data encryption), to protect sensitive information. Team Management • Responsible for designing the ideal organization structure for the IT Operations team, arriving at the right team size, roles, job descriptions and ensuring that team members deliver their objectives. • Set the best practices in technically evaluating new hires and existing team members • Monitoring network performance, usage and ensuring its optimal performance. • Providing ongoing support for the company's telecommunications system. • Define, troubleshooting, diagnoses, and solving network problems • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks • Managing issues with ISPs, Equipment suppliers and network vendors • Assist in preparation of IT solution presentations • Managing and support all aspects of network security. (Firewall, routers) • Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet. • Evaluating network architecture and hardware/software configurations for security vulnerabilities. • Assisting application developers in creating secure systems and monitoring intranet, extranet, and internet systems for security threats. • Designs security infrastructure (HW/SW, policies, procedures), performs vulnerability assessments, evaluates network infrastructure, conducts investigations and performs intrusion detection monitoring. • Planning and maintaining Domain controller and File server. • Managing and maintaining Email accounts and website. • Support administration of servers and managing backup for all systems. • Provide technical support for all users if needed • Retail Pro 9 Technical Support , installation and configuration (Employee Management – Customer Management – Reports – ECM – Promo – Customer Loyalty – Toolkit ) • Responsible on All Branches (Cairo – Alexandria – Mansoura – Shebin Elkom – Assuit – KSA) IT Infrastructure planning, Designing, Implementing and Testing. • Responsible for follow-up fingerprint devices and cameras
