Mechanical Engineer Team LeaderFull Time

• Job Details:* Performing and supervising the planned maintenance projects for terminal cranes (STS,RTG) (Noell & ZPMC). * Crane maintenance including assembling and disassembling of various Mechanical parts( Pistons ,Valves, Pumps and brakes)and Performing Preventive and corrective maintenance of the Engines ( Cummins and Volvo). * Monitoring the Qaulity of the Job Done by the technicians. * Coordinate with Planning MNG and ENG to set the maintenance/repair plan. * Perform other duties as requested by the direct Senior/MNG. * Fully Comply with HSSE Policies, departmental SOP’s. * Promote a culture to ensure full compliance with all applicable safety standards. * Take diligent care of all SCCT property and materials. * Actively participate in relevant SCCT, ENG and HSSE process improvement initiatives. * Ensure that all subordinates thoroughly understand all relevant work procedures. * Ensures that each vehicle entering the workshop goes through the Chev process. *Supports the Service Advisor to communicate the details, cost and time required for any additional work to the customer. * Manage the work on the vehicle to ensure that all the jobs detailed on the Repair Order (Job Card) are completed and that the full suite of JLR Technical Support materials (e.g. TOPIX) are used by Technicians, resulting in a repair which is Right First Time. * Uses an understanding of JLR Warranty Policies to determine which repairs can be categorized as warranty work. Uses JLR systems (DDW / WASP, GWMS) to obtain warranty information and obtain authorization if required
