• Job Details:Experience: Qatar Pharma Since 01.10.2010 till now Doha, Qatar Foreign Purchasing section Head at Qatar Pharma: • Work closely with planning department to help achieving the preset production plan • Searching for approved international suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history. • Able to calculate international freight charges to determine whether the purchase of the materials or equipment’s is economically feasible. • Prepare price comparisons to ensure compliance with the agreed upon contract price. • Analyze price proposals and other data and information to determine reasonable prices. • Negotiate with international suppliers to achieve best material price offer and best service with payment credit facility • Prepare foreign purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for materials or merchandise. • Issue purchase order as requested ensuring on time delivery of the required quantities. • Review and follow up on all foreign purchase orders requested by all concerned parties/departments. • Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and in case of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods. • Issue purchase report reflecting the status of purchase orders even they are opened or closed ones. • Supply Research and Development department with newly discovered or invented materials, chemicals and manufacturing techniques used globally Scope of Company production lines: • IV Solutions Line " Bags ,Vials , Bottles & Ampules " • Hemodialysis Line " Jerrycans" • Topical Drugs Line "Creams, Lotions, Ointment & Eye drops" • Large volumes Line "3L & 5L bags " • Medical devices Line " Jerrycans , SFC Ports & Eurocaps " Scope of work & Supply • Raw Materials" API with required grades & Documentation " COS, DMF, GMP…etc." & Excipients • Packaging Materials " Vials , Glass bottles, LDPE granules , HDPE granules, PP film, Cartons, Labels, Caps , Rubber , Aluminum Tubes , Plastic Jars ,Wrapping Film, Stretch film, Ready-made bags with connectors & Eye Droppers • Machines & Spare Parts " Plumat, Rommelag , blow & injection molding machines, Autoclave, water treatment , Boilers & chillers • Tanks , Filters , Valves & inspection lines • Lab Equipment for Chemistry & Micro "Lab Instruments, uniforms ,Glass equipment's, RS Standard, Biological Indicators, Media, Etc." in addition following for calibration and validation resources • Racking System, Cooling System ,forklifts , Stackers , Wrapping Machines , Barcode Machines & Pallets • Trailers with Cooling Containers , Flat Bed Trailers & navigators References & Companies: • Rommelag " Kristen Hutten " • Plumat " Stefan Puller " • Jon Wai Plastic Machinery " Mr. Terry " • Parker Plastic Machinery " Ms. Sanni " • Fedegari SPA " Mr. Herman " • Remoin " Mrs. Alejandra " • TECNinox " Mr. Franco Migoli " • Polycine " Christian Kunz " • Renolit Beijing Medical Group "Mr. Faouzi" • SGD "MS.
