• Job Details:1- Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices. 2-Checking computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality. 3-Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications. 4- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance. 5- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. 6- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment. 7- Providing technical assistance for questions and problems. 8- Resolving problems with networks and other computer systems. 9- Following up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues. 10- Installing or changing software to fix issues. 11- Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problem. 12 -providing assistance to academic and administrative staff. The assistant also maintains computers and equipment, installs computer software and hardware, and instructions new users on how to use certain software packages. Working knowledge of computer hardware and software is essential to this position.. 12 - Administrate Windows deployment services server (WDS) with boot.wim, windows.wim (windows 7 - windows 8.1 - windows server 2012). 13- Administrate windows server 2012 R2 Active Directory (Users - Groups).
