Job Details:Lab Engineer role: This role includes the following responsibilities: • Conducting technical evaluations of materials to determine whether they are in conformity with a specific standard or not and reporting the tests results and the conformity results to the companies. • Teaching undergraduate students in lab sessions. • Assisting undergraduate/ graduate students in performing some tests related to their graduation projects/ thesis (Chemical analysis and optical microscope). QC role: Chemical lab Technical Manager ( Jan 2021: May 2023) This role included the following responsibilities: • Maintaining records according to ISO 17025 and Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC). • Chemical lab Calibration and representing the lab in EGAC re-assessment visit. • Calculation of uncertainty measurements. • Performing and validation of all calibration, controls for performance and emissions. • Participating in various calibration improvement of assess it in laboratory. • Managing and implementing all pre calibration processes and applying it effectively to all levels. • Making necessary maintenance for the device when needed or contacting the maintenance company.
