• Job Details:- Dispensing outpatient prescriptions. - Counseling patients on the right way to use their medications. - Dispensing inpatient medications. - Keeping track of the stock and ordering medications daily from the suppliers. - Receiving the orders, double-checking their expiration dates and adding the new orders to our pharmacy’s system. - Monthly audit on all hospital’s departments (Inpatient/ ICU/ ER/ OR) and writing the audit reports. - Conducting frequent training on quality policies for the hospital’s staff including physicians, nursing staff, and pharmacy assistants. - Applying South Sinai Hospital’s quality policies (NSR-12, 13, 14, 15, 16, MMS 3, 5) - Colour-coding the medications to differentiate (look alike/ sound alike/ high concentrated and high alert medications according to ISMP) to reduce medication errors.
