• Job Details:• Jose has thirty years (34) years of extensive experience, gained with reputable Principal and Specialist Contractors, on Building & Civil Engineering Projects. José is a Trained Civil Engineer holding a B.E Civil Degree, an MBA Degree; he also has a good financial acumen. José has worked 5 years, Client side for Property Development Companies, and has spent 16 Years working in the GCC. Jose is currently working for SOBHA Engineering & Contracting as the Deputy Managing Director, responsible for P & L for 8 projects in excess of 1 Billion AED. Jose was transferred back from Brazil where he was the Managing Director – Executive Director to Dubai with Brookfield Multiplex, Dubai where he was employed as the Executive Director Projects, responsible for the Abu Dhabi Business. Jose moved to Brazil in January 2015, where he has been working as the Executive Construction Director /MD for Brookfield International who own Multiplex International, and he is responsible for the whole of Brazil, in which the company has 75 Residential Building projects and 27 Commercial Building projects, both residential and commercial buildings, which are at present running concurrently and these have a net value of 2.8 Billion Brazilian Riais, and these projects are spread over four main regions: • Sao Paulo • Rio de Janeiro • Sao Paulo Interior • Midwest Goiania and Brasilia Jose is responsible for the P & L of the company as well as 3 Regional Construction Directors, 36 project Directors and 36 Project Managers, as well as a compliment of 142 head office staff. www.br.brookfield.com Jose is still currently with Brookfield Multiplex, but was transferred to Dubai in January 2016, where he is the Executive Director Projects www.brookfieldmultiplex.com Jose’s Role in Libya was that of the CEO of both Corinthia Construction Overseas Limited & Bengashir Construction Company, which has Maltese and Libyan owners and shareholders. Jose was a Board member, based full time in Tripoli, Libya. As Head of Construction Business, the main SBU of the company is Civil Engineering, Building, Infrastructure works and well as the manufacture of ready mix concrete for both internal consumption and sale to third party companies. The Company also owns and operates a state of the Art, Masonry Products factory with a capacity of producing 28.500 masonry products in an 8 Hour shift.
