Delegation of duties to subordinates within finance and administration functions.

Account Officer

• Job Details:Reviewing of daily payments to creditors, loan applicants and asset acquisitions. Reviewing of general ledger postings and preparation of monthly management accounts and commentary. Preparing of five-year forecasts and annual budgets. Attending main board and committee meetings, writing of minutes, and following up on issues raised by the board members. Responsible for internal controls and attending to issues raised by internal and external auditors. Responsible for implementing internal process control and ensuring that they align to the policy and procedure manual. Analyzing of internal processes, market and economic factors to come up with appropriate pricing decisions. Responsible for interim and annual financial reporting, including preparation of tax computations, ensuring compliance with IFRS. Analyses of business performance (financial and non-financial) and recommending improvements to management. Analyzing financial statements of prospective customers and coming up with recommendations to the credit committee. Responsible for cash flow management, ensuring that cash is available to meet obligations. Involved in coming up with organizational strategy.
