QC Engineer / Civil InspectorFull Time

• Job Details:Project Description: o EPCM & Construction Contract for Plant Changes, Minor Base and Medium Projects o Construction of Well Pad Drilling Rig Area, Well Test Area, Evaporation Pond, Flare Stack, Drilling Flare Pit, Sewage Tank Pit, Pipe Sleeper Foundations, Cuttings Laydown Slabs and Parking Area. Job Duties & Responsibilities: o Review the concrete mix design submitted by the Contractor as per Qatar Shell specification and international standard. o Witness Trial Mixes at Batch Plant as per approved Mix Design. o Review prequalification documents and check all calibration of equipment and weighing scale of the Batch Plant. o Review Material Approval Request (MAR) and Method Statements submitted by the Contractor. o Review prequalification documents of Third Party Testing Agency (Laboratory) proposed by the Contractor o Review and Check RFI’s submitted by Contractor and review plans, specifications and other relative data’s required for inspection and testing. o Review ITP’s submitted by Contractor for Civil and Structural Works. o Review and inspect the construction material of Contractor as per project requirements. o Witness inspections for earthworks, concrete and structural activities by the contractor. o Issue Non-conformances Report (NCR) and Quality Observations Reports (QOR) to the Contractor for any violation against Project Specifications. o Assists QA/QC Manager for Internal Audit. o Interfaces with Engineering Team to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. o Report to the EPCM Quality Manager for all Inspection Schedule, Quality Issues, Non-conformances and daily work Surveillance. o Attend weekly meeting Internal and with the Contractor regarding general progress and project quality index. o Attend walkdown with the End User for Mechanical Completion and Ready for Use. Create Punch Lists generated during the Walkdown. o Review and Approved the Final dossier of Contractor’s Site Quality Assurance Record Book (SQARB) on the completion of the project.

QC Civil EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Project Description: o Construction of Refinery Buildings such as Substations, Process Interface and Operator & Maintenance Building. o Construction of Underground Utilities such as piping, trenches/ditches, catch basins, manholes, sump pits and surface drainage. o Construction of Equipment Foundations, Pipe Racks, Equipment Structures, Tank Farms, Flares, Pipe Sleepers, Pump Foundations and Compressor Houses. Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Review and evaluate the method statement for Civil, Architectural works and Underground Utilities as per Saudi Aramco Standards and related International Standards such as PIP, ACI, ASTM, BS, IBC and others prior for Client review and approval. o Prepare and evaluate appropriate construction material and submit for Client review and approval. o Assist QA/QC Manager for the batching plant evaluation and review prequalification documents prior submittal to Saudi Aramco. o Witness and check trial batches of concrete as per Saudi Aramco requirements and regularly inspect concrete batching plant. o Review prequalification documents of Third Party Testing Agency (Laboratory) prior submission to Client. o Prepare RFI, review plans, specifications and other relative data’s required for inspection and testing. o Initially inspect the work for Structural, Architectural and Underground Utilities prior for Client inspection to ensure that the work properly done according to the IFC drawings & project specifications. o Inspect the construction material delivered on site such as rebar, paints, aggregates, ready-mix concrete and Pipes for utilities such as, GRE-RTR, HDPE, PVC pipe and Fittings and other site consumable materials. o Develop a procedure to establish norms to define the project-alternatives that will be evaluated for each construction task. o Review Saudi Aramco ITP prior to start the work and develop contractor ITP if there is no available on client side. o Liaise with Client for clarification & queries in work related technical issues. o Evaluate Subcontractors/Suppliers for pre-qualification & bid evaluation. o Prepare submittals for subcontracting and field procurement materials for Client review & approval. o Evaluates specific non-conformances (NCR) and provide recommended dispositions. Interfaces with Engineering Consultants to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. o Coordinate with the Client Inspector for all Inspection Schedule, Quality Issues, Non-conformances and daily work Surveillance. o Attend client weekly meeting regarding general progress, project quality index and site quality issues.
