• Job Details:I had the job of IMPROVING ELECTRICAL FACILITIES TO POWER THE NEW FERTILIZER PLANTS. I work as a project leader in this task,where I have to evaluate the condition of the facilities and start the improvement projects. • Presented the feasibility study, based on electric load flow and other studies using ETAP software. • Prepared the estimation cost, class IV. • Developed basic & detailed designs with the contractor, SIEMENS, including 4 new electrical 13800Vsubstation using SF6 switchgears technology. Besides bigger underground distribution grid, duck bank • Organized and maintained project schedule, time lines and ensure that milestones are met, meeting schedules, delivery documentation, and change management. • Used bases and criteria for the electrical and civil design to reviewing of engineering packages. • Ensured that projects follow guidelines, codes and other regulations. Achievements Through a thorough follow up of construction activities, was possible to reduce cost in some task, by rethinking some engineering details. The latter led to finish the project not only reducing cost but in a shorter time than the scheduled.
