• Job Details:Supporting the CEO in aligning the firm with strategic goals for growth in Centers of Excellence (CoE) and structural functions. Emphasis is placed on implementing a 'People First' mandate, fostering continuous improvement, and empowering the workforce. Collaboration with the leadership team and operations is key to developing a flexible growth strategy, addressing talent needs, and integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into functional capabilities. Responsibilities include understanding client requirements, contributing to proposals, coordinating with architecture teams, and supervising structural design development. Focusing on compliance with policies, ensuring quality control in drawings, staying updated on statutory requirements, and acting as an authorized signatory for formal submissions to authorities. Participating in the Structural design and BIM implementation of worldwide projects in different countries around the continents including but not limited to; Canada, Australia, Mexico, Vanuatu, and Madagascar. Functional Experience - Providing a strong technology foundation to manage the project deployment and management of BIM professionals, and department staff. Ability to manage department staff by laying the groundwork for a strong BIM technical environment. - Ability to express complex concepts effectively to the business, yet technical enough to have a detailed review of designs and approaches with technical resources. - Ability to oversee multiple concurrent deliverables of team/SME, develop internal/external relationships, and establish cross-team Partnerships. - Providing experience leading large complex cross-functional programs. - Capability of managing multiple Priorities to maintain a balance between day-to-day operations, projects, and strategic development. - Providing knowledge of International Standards and Codes. - Providing knowledge of national/local ministerial regulations and standards. - Ability to select foreign and local materials/equipment/assemblies and finished products based on technical evaluations. Participate in the BIM modelling, coordination, or shop drawings of projects and any other services related to structural disciplines such as BIM implementation, new technologies implementations, and standardization.
