• Job Details:Elkrem is a startup that is building a development kit that connects makers to blockchain technology that will be announced on the Kickstarter platform. My role as an application engineer in the marketing team includes the following: -Brainstorming for interesting, fun & educational projects for makers and developers that can show them what the development board is capable of and teach them about blockchain technology and it's benefits. -Build projects from scratch while keeping on mind that it has to be easy to rebuild using easily accessible software for makers and developers. -Write a detailed blog with all the steps needed to rebuild this project from scratch with the required knowledge. -Assist the marketing team in writing technical blogs and infographics. During my time at Elkrem, I learned to use CAD software tool fusion 360 to build enclosures for some of the projects, I used Eagle CAD to design PCBs when needed, it was a great choice since it has an integration with Fusion 360.

R&D EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:The R&D team was responsible for designing and building educational & training kits for Engineers (students & professionals) as well as for technicians. My role as an electronics engineer in the R&D team included the following: -Research how to control different actuators ex: ignition coils, Air Throttles (mostly auto parts) -Design the electronic control system for the assigned system, from scratch if needed. -PCB layout design, fabrication, assembly & testing. -Writing embedded software for microcontrollers in control systems (PIC). -Writing a structured report for the control system inside the kit for the technicians and maintenance engineer. -Testing and troubleshooting.
