• Job Details:• Perform the quarterly employee evaluation for the department’s purchasing specialist. • Prepared the department’s procedures and forms in coordination with supporting departments’ management. • Review Purchase Requisitions and obtain required approvals for unplanned or urgent requirements through communication with the company CEO. • Review, modify and approve the vendors’ quotation comparison sheet provided by the purchasing department specialist. • Negotiate purchases valued over 20000 EGP for best prices, delivery terms and payment terms. • Review and approve purchase orders issued to vendors. • Receive and review delivery progress reports. • Receive QC department reports for goods inspection and approval and negotiate the replacement or compensation regarding rejected quantities. • Review vendor qualification visits and/or interviews for new vendors applying inclusion to the company vendor list provided by purchasing department specialist. • Review vendor feedback performed yearly by the purchasing department specialist. • Plan purchasing specialist priorities.
