• Job Details:❖ Overall Duties & Responsibilities: ➢ Identifying and evaluating significant health and safety risk controls and keep records for all accidents/incidents and significant near misses. ➢ Ensure that all contractors comply with the HSE Policy and EHS commitments. ➢ Conducting accident investigations for all accidents/incidents and significant near misses. ➢ Identify and evaluate significant health and safety risks and implement hazard identification and risk assessment processes providing suitable control measures. ➢ Providing periodic inspection procedures for all PPEs, tools, fire extinguishers, and all used equipment to ensure that they all are in a good condition and safe to be used. ➢ Coordinate with sub-contractors to improve their HSE performance developing a positive EHS culture. ➢ Providing daily site inspection process to ensure that work activities done in a safe manner & all workers have the required safe PPEs. ➢ Conducting safety induction and orientation for new workers. ➢ Conducting periodical Tool Box Talk and refreshment training for all workers to increase their morals and safety awareness to make them feel responsible for themselves and for the whole company. ➢ Developing HSE Observation reporting processes developing HSE reporting culture. ➢ Attend safety meetings with clients and consultants to reassure health and safety standards and process. ➢ Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices. ➢ Providing Inspection for the workplace to make sure that all the permits’ requirements are provided prior to start the work (safety precautions, Emergency procedures….etc.). ➢ Providing technical advice, training, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes. ➢ Ensure that risk assessment for all actions especially high potential activities is covering all risks providing required control measures to perform tasks safely. ➢ Investigating accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine the root causes and take suitable corrective/preventive measures. ➢ Perform periodical and sudden safety audits and inspections as a pro-active action to identify and correct potential hazards to ensure safety regulation compliance. ➢ Developing the organization's health and safety strategy making a realistic health and safety plan to be fully implemented. ➢ Producing regular and appropriate reports of health and safety, including areas of improvement. ➢ Following up ISO & OHSAS and make sure that all procedures are implemented effectively.
