• Job Details:-sheet metal design involves proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for creating detailed designs of sheet metal components and assemblies. -experience in designing for manufacturability, considering factors such as material thickness, tolerances, bend radius, and tooling requirements. -hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, including material selection, bending, forming, welding, and finishing techniques. -design skills extend to structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and simulation tools to ensure the integrity and performance of sheet metal designs. -hands-on experience with various sheet metal manufacturing processes, including cutting, bending, punching, stamping, and laser cutting. -knowledge extends to CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines used for precision machining of sheet metal components, such as CNC punching machines, laser cutters, and press brakes. -familiar with the capabilities and limitations of different manufacturing processes and machinery, allowing you to optimize designs for efficient and cost-effective production. -understand quality control measures and inspection techniques relevant to sheet metal manufacturing, ensuring that finished products meet design specifications and industry standards. -Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences focused on welding technology and advancements in the field. These events provide opportunities to learn from industry experts and network with peers. -Gain hands-on experience by participating in welding projects or apprenticeships under the guidance of experienced welders. Practice different welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding, on a variety of materials. -knowledge of cost estimation methods and techniques used in manufacturing industries.
