• Job Details:Derivative/Risk Management Product Sales Foreign exchange, interest rate, commodities and fixed income risk management products sales and structuring Trading directly with customer’s directly as required and providing unique solutions to clients exposed to foreign exchange, interest rate and liquidity risk Promoting/selling risk management and hedging strategies to clients. Responsible for achieving the Risk Management Product budget in Kenya. Identifying target clients for Risk Management Products, and maintain and update the Risk Management Products pipeline on a monthly basis, for discussion at the monthly Barclays Africa call. Pricing FX structures i.e. Options, Collars, Par Forwards, and Leveraged Forwards Pricing Interest Rates Structures i.e. Swaps, Caps and Floors Ownership of presentations, term sheets, templates, client documentation, ISDA, as per NPA approval Interacting with the Corporate and Consumer bank for the purpose of marketing corporate/consumer risk advisory solutions to the bank’s clients Contributing to the development of the Sales & Trading Function Ecommerce Sales Driving the Markets agenda and strategy of delivering cutting edge solutions to customers by championing the delivery of the Barclays Bank’s in-house online FX trading system, BARX Africa, to customers in Kenya Installation and system training to customers to ensure they are comfortable using the system. Being the main contact for customers in Kenya to help them troubleshoot any problems they face in the system Driving the income numbers of customers using the system and ensuring there is no income leakage as a result of usage of the system Corporate Sales Dealer Managing Barclays Bank of Kenya’s global corporates portfolio as the Corporate and Investment Banking Markets product partner Provide solutions to clients that would encourage consistency in bottom line reporting through direct FX sales, FX forwards and FX Swaps. Managing a portfolio of customer’s treasury trading activities Trading directly with customers as required and providing unique solutions to clients exposed to foreign exchange and liquidity risk. Develop and manage close contacts with both Corporate Bank relationship managers and customers.
