International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme -IBDP Coordinator + Extended Essay CoordinatorFull Time

• Job Details:❑ To build system from scratch 1st year for the DP in the school ❑ Discussing and comparing to choose the best DP Learning Management System. ❑ Choosing Managebac and creating classes and online sessions through LMS. ❑ Creating the DP 2 Year Calendar with extended essay, TOK, CAS and internal assessment assigned. ❑ 4 Assessments assigned Per year along with predicted grades for DP1 at the end of the year and beginning of DP2 ❑ Ensure that the assessment practices outlined in the school assessment policy y are embedded in unit planning and classroom practice within the sessions. ❑ Coordinate and implement a strategy to ensure assessments are shared in good time to ensure effective teaching and learning over the programme ❑ Ensure IB unit planning requirements are met and documented effectively. ❑ Coordinate arrangements/ prepare materials for cover work in the event of staff absence or emergency. ❑ Ensure correct completion of IB coursework and meeting of IB/school deadlines and requirements. ❑ Liaise with the other subject coordinator(s) to ensure continuity of learning and skills as students make the transition from the MYP to DP stage ❑ Lead the collaborative production of unit plans and learning sequences, facilitate feedback and adapt content as appropriate. ❑ Develop a holistic overview, that ensures students build on their prior learning experiences developing new skills ❑ Lead a culture of lifelong learning, and commitment to professional development. ❑ Ensure that colleagues new to a subject are fully supported in understanding the requirements ❑ To ensure that all of the subject teachers meet IB requirements and attend needed workshop attendance.
