• Job Details:Leadership and project management Manage real estate and hospitality sector audits of UK branch of a GCC sovereign investment fund with assets~ $1. 2bil and turnover~ $650mil; report directly to audit partner. Lead teams of 10-15 accountants; create and oversee projects by creating timelines and progress meetings with teams to meet audit deadlines in a fast paced corporate environment. Communication and customer service In charge of weekly meetings with external Finance Directors and support teams(15-20 persons). Co-ordinate with stakeholders by delivering updates on audit plan including discussing targets with senior management, identifying delays, finding achievable solutions and monitoring costs. Report to Audit Committee with findings(i.e on the impact of ISA315r, recognition of IFRS 16). Collaboration, flexibility and adaptability Co-ordinate with a range of internal departments(i.e tax, IT, valuation) to resolve complex procedures Work with external departments from a multiple industry sectors including technology, retail, hospitality and education; able to understand and adapt to constantly changing environments. Data analytics and IT capability Experience using a range of IT accounting systems (SAP, Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, MSDynamics). Implemented a business intelligence and data analytics tool by creating a multi-functional dashboard from general ledger data; used for key testing and company trend analysis(revenue/cost/profitability). Budgeting and strategic planning Developed 2023/24 budget by identifying unusual over-billed hours, holding feedback meetings and performing retrospective assessment; resulted in* 15% revenue and* 10% inefficiency by vs 2022.
