  • Job Details:I am engaged in every facet of the business process – planning, purchasing, production, transportation, storage & distribution, customer service, customs clearance and more. Provide direction, guidance, and leadership to the supply chain network related to associates, service, inventories, demand and supply planning. Responsible for the planning of all procurement, supplier management, inventory control, in bound freight logistics and scheduling activities. Develop, foster, and maintain relationships with supplier partners. Responsible for understanding and following current procedures and policies related to supply chain. Responsible for creating / improving supply chain procedures and insuring department / cross functional department compliance. Maintain key performance indicators and report monthly. Develop a relationship and work closely with the Sales & Marketing group to create a demand planning process. Review existing scheduling process and lead a team to improve. Establish and promote a work environment amongst co-workers and direct reports that is focused on the customer, builds team, and supports company policies.

  • Job Details:Act as the primary Supply Chain contact for internal customers and external suppliers regarding production management. Identify, understand and communication plans with the appropriate individuals (including Shop Floor, Job Shops, Sourcing, Engineering, etc.) to discuss issues and results related to tooling availability and service. Identify and resolve supplier, machine and labor capacity roadblocks. Respond to all internal and external customer messages within the expected timeframes. Review and address issues related to supply and demand variation. Take appropriate action to prevent job shop disruptions and reschedules. Maintain data integrity in the system (examples: planner codes, order dates, etc.) Provide verbal and written information as required related to supplier performance, service level, machine / labor capacity, constraints, or other items pertaining to the availability of tooling or delivery to a facility. Prepare, print and distribute monthly reports and departmental key performance indicators to management, internal customers and external suppliers. Participate in department meetings. Identify product and system flow improvements to eliminate nonvalue added operations. Verify delivery and terms of order with suppliers. Open and process manufacturing orders / purchase orders. Schedule, and manage purchase orders / manufacturing orders based on changing customer needs. Communicate priorities for processing workflow through receiving, inspection, or other departments to stock components. Analyze impact of non-conforming materials (NCM’s), determine the appropriate action plan, and ensure that suppliers and internal departments follow up as required. Participate in departmental projects.
