Responsibilities: - Be in line with the warehouse regarding materials being imported and exported . - Generate reports about the monthly logistics status for both internal and external movements for all shipments - Revising the MRP. - Supervising the purchasing plans and updating a competitiveness list of our suppliers or service providers - Organizing the deals with the freight forwarders. - Assisting in the monthly forecasts and developments plans - Supervising the movements of our fleet trucks and private cars - Supervising paper work regarding both importing/exporting materials. - Making sure our company has an updated computerized system with all types of supply chain new software - Upgrading the warehouse to high tech, installing bulk in-racks , and I also took big steps toward having RFID system in our warehouses. - Follow up with the logistics/purchasing department regarding all the logistics freight and supervising the logistics costs paid in every project we intend to start. - Updating tenders/contracts between us and other oil companies from the supply chain point of view. - Creating competitive environment for our freight forwarders to get the best of them for our business. - Applying all the above in our branches in Algeria,Saudi Arabia, Libya and Kuwait.
