• Job Details:I. Job Summary Responsible for producing fabrication orders and approval packages with constant coordination with concerned departments such as Projects, Prefab, Procurement, Planning . II. Major Duties and Responsibilities 1. Prepares material take-off as per required in the client drawing using X-Steel (Tekla Software) or calculated manually through client drawings Given and ensures that an accurate material description, length, total quantity, specifications, structure number, total weight are entered into the material-take-off (MTO) database. 2. Constructing a project model using (Tekla Software) with complete connections as per IFC drawings . 3. Preparing Shop Drawings ( Assembly - Single Parts - General Arrangement ) 4. Preparing Order Package Including ( NFC files, Complete Drawings ) for the Factory to proceed with the fabrication 5. Preparing Approval Packages for the Client and updating Model and Drawings to fit with Client Vision and requirements . 6. Interfaces with Projects, Procurement, and Store to ensure availability of allocated materials as per raw material requisition (RMR) and maintain records of material requirement and issuance per job request. 7. Requires varied decision making in utilizing information based on acquired knowledge and technical skills in analysing construction drawing.

Material Control EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:I. Job Summary Responsible in the preparation of material take-off, material purchase requisition, material allocation, and constant coordination with concerned departments such as Projects, Procurement, Planning, and Store in order to realize Material Control’s desired targets. II. Major Duties and Responsibilities 1. Prepares material take-off as per required in the client drawing using X-Steel (Tekla Software) or calculated manually through client drawings Given and ensures that an accurate material description, length, total quantity, specifications, structure number, total weight are entered into the material-take-off (MTO) database. 2. Prepare material allocation based on the shop drawing and ensure accurate allocation is carried out from stock or through purchase requisition. 3. Prepares purchase requisition (PR) through ERP system (maintaining minimum ordering requirements and ordering cut to length material) and constantly follows up to ensure that requested materials are purchased within the deadline. 4. Identify the material from stock which can be utilized in the project and coordinate with Projects/Client for any clarification along with raising RFI (request for information). 5. Identify the requirements in the event of any variation against the client drawing and initiate the process for additional and redundant material in VCR form for additional material and man hours. Coordinate with Project and Finance for further handling. 6. Interfaces with Projects, Procurement, and Store to ensure availability of allocated materials as per raw material requisition (RMR) and maintain records of material requirement and issuance per job request. 7. Requires varied decision making in utilizing information based on acquired knowledge and technical skills in analysing construction drawing, material take-off and allocation 8. The incumbent follows broad procedures that require understanding material take-off and allocation, and analyzing construction drawing and that correcting of errors will involve others commitment of time and will cause some financial loss III. Work Contacts Contacts with Section Head of the following departments: 1. Projects – seeks approval of Project Manager on the material purchase requisition and discusses material deliveries. 2. Procurements – follows-up purchase of materials. 3. Store – discusses issuance of requested raw materials. 4. Receives work instruction from colleagues communicates progress of his ongoing or completed tasks with Supervisors.
