BIM MEP Technical ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Develops and implements the proposed Program-wide BIM system strategy and standards • Monitors consultant's and contractors compliance with BIM strategy and standards. • Ensures construction BIM model reviews concerning relevant local and international design codes of practice. • Ensures and validates that coordination with other design discipline review teams is carried out • Management of development of BIM uses considering 3D models to solve design coordination issues and simulation of interfacing between systems and provision of installation shop drawings prior to relevant site activities. • Monitors the resubmissions of BIM deliverables to ensure that all checks and review actions have been responded to and integrated. • Contribute with specialists to ensure that the outputs of the design consultants and contractor align with the BIM objectives of the project. • Chaired BIM review meetings/workshops with clients including consultants and project managers. • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure MEP systems are integrated smoothly into overall project plans. • Review MEP IFC drawings, ensuring they meet project requirements, codes, and standards. • Provide technical guidance and support to the design team, contractors, and subcontractors during the design and construction phases. • Implement quality control measures to ensure MEP systems meet specifications, performance standards, and regulatory requirements. • Assist in estimating MEP project costs, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. • Identify potential risks related to MEP systems and develop strategies to mitigate them. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP systems are properly integrated with other building components. • Maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and project reports.
