• Job Details:Conducting Welder Qualification Tests with client representative and preparation & issue welder ID cards for qualified welders. Witnessing Welder’s Qualification. Piping spools fit up inspection, material traceability records maintenances, joint nos. weld nos. records, piping spools isometric nos. / spool nos. Witnessing of Mechanical tests & Interpretations of NDT tests ASNT Level II in Dye Penetrate test, Magnetic Particle Test, Radiographic tests and Ultrasonic Tests. Radiographic film interpretations. Review of Material Test Certificates for Raw Materials like Pipes, Fittings, Flanges & Welding Consumables. Monitoring Post weld Heat Treatment Process for Carbon steel & Alloy steels Checking of Hardness of welds as per the codes requirements Monitoring material identity & traceability. Responsible for QC function on site I.e. Supervises QC inspector and take necessary corrective action to eliminate the defects. Verify that the quality related site activities are according with application codes, standards and client requirements. Review for all the quality Control Documentation Control of all Non Conformance Reports and undertake remedial action.
