  • Job Details:• Maintain the operational integrity of maintenance (preventive maintenance), installation and removal of mechanical systems/components repair and documentation of the drilling systems &equipment. • Order parts, which will be necessary for maintenance and repair of equipment. • Complete required maintenance reports. • Make use of parts books as necessary to identify necessary parts and make arrangements for ordering. • Communicate and coordinate effectively with other work areas when repairs are necessary. • Operate various types of machinist equipment, i.e., drill press, lathe, etc. • Possess mechanical abilities to repair and maintain complex mechanical systems have the ability to read and understand blueprints. • Maintain appropriate records. • Work under pressure as "down time" during drilling operations can present major difficulties, loss of day rate, and cause undue delays to client. • Maintain tools and mechanic's shop. • Maintain housekeeping in assigned area of responsibility. • Assist chief/rig engineer in maintaining adequate • Inventory for equipment in area of responsibility. • Keep abreast of all Operational and Adverse Events Bulletins, which affect the assigned work areas. • Maintain Company required paperwork and documentation (Drawings, Catalogues and Parts Lists). • Participates and contributes in Safety, operational Meetings and Safety drills and inspections. • Must represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job to include confidentiality of Company and client business. • Performed complete overhaul for rig Admarine6 (formerly PARAGON M 822) in UAE and UWILD in Suez dry dock. • Performed UWILD and complete overhaul for rig Admarine657 in UAE drydocks Dubai.
