Procurement & Planning Section headFull Time

• Job Details:Main Purchasing Responsibilities:  Develop and manage a procurement team to include sourcing, contracting, purchasing, vendor management (i.e., monitoring, reporting and benchmarking) and other internal procurement support activities.  Negotiate procurement agreements with vendors by negotiating payment terms, product prices, volume discounts, and delivery requirements.  Manage and control all internal and external contracts concerning raw materials, packing materials, equipment, and spare parts.  Analyze and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to identify opportunities to reduce overall purchasing costs.  Control purchasing department budget.  Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined process and fast production times.  Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time, and managing the procurement supplier relationships.  Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.  Support the product finance team by sharing best practices across the procurement organization, assisting with contract reviews and helping hone their negotiations skills.  Provide monthly procurement summaries to the executive and product finance teams.  Create and measure yearly goals and objectives for procurement department including cost savings, influence of spend, supplier performance, inventory, and quality. Main Planning Responsibilities:  Manage all work flow for projects and maintain control on same and manage an efficient inventory level of all safety stock and review all volume requirements for all production materials.  Manages and prepares division inventory relating to records, tracking of materials, changing business activity, quality of materials and stocking levels. Works closely with procurement to ensure reorder processes and timely delivery of materials are in place  Establish a Central Production Plan that supports the Sales Plans, inventory guidelines, internal requirements, and optimizes operating efficiencies and customer service levels.  Monitors inventory levels concurrently with incoming demand to insure inventory availability and proactively adapting.  Works with vendors to achieve target delivery performance and perform monthly delivery analysis.  Lead various cross functional production planning meetings with respective stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) - Section Head Full Time

• Job Details: Schedules and controls the release of materials. Monitors material inventory in the plant, in the warehouse, and by critical suppliers.  Develops and executes material planning for a product line. Ensures that all material requirements for assigned programs are satisfied within the allocated time frame.  Monitors and updates delivery dates to ensure product arrives as needed without overstock / understock.  Works with vendors to achieve target delivery performance and perform monthly delivery analysis.  Manages and coordinates the engineering change process and Bill of Material (BOM) process to ensure all modifications are in pre-production and mass production runs.  Evaluates the supplier and manufacturer base on their performance and technical ability.
